Saturday 10/10: Rev Coffee presents Rev Fall Fest. Rev Fest is a one-day music and arts festival held twice a year that features local artists and musicians. It will take place in the front and side parking lots of Rev Coffee. The motivation behind the event is a merging of artists, musicians, and businesses from Smyrna and surrounding communities. Rev Coffee wishes to provide a venue for local artists to display and sell their talents and passions while at the same time inviting the community to observe and enjoy in a comfortable and entertaining environment. Rev Coffee is located at 1680 Spring Rd., Smyrna.

Saturday 10/10-Sunday 10/11: Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art will present its annual Chalktoberfest. This is a chalk art festival that will take place around Marietta Square and down Atlanta Street in from of the museum. This year Chalktoberfest will continue to feature over 40 contracted, professional chalk artists from around the country. Artists will draw in front of spectators during both days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday the tenth, Chalktoberfest will be expanding to feature a beer festival with it. This “Locals Only” craft beer festival will allow you to walk around enjoying the chalk art. There will be a selection of over 100 different kinds of craft beer. On Sunday the eleventh, Chalktoberfest will include a kids’ craft-making section from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. that is geared toward children of all ages to try their hand at different crafts. Saturday 10/17: The fifth annual Marietta Zombie Walk will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., and the zombies are to bring donations to support MUST Ministries. The Infestation (gathering) starts at 5 p.m. in Glover Park after the festival. The feeding (walk) starts promptly at 6 p.m. Makeup artists will be on hand during the festival to help bring out the undead for a monetary donation, or you can arrive already in character using your own creativity. www.mariettazombiewalk.org www.mustministries.org
Saturday 10/24-Sunday 10/25: Fall Jonquil Festival has a history of over twenty years. It will feature handmade arts and crafts booths, local non-profit booths, puppet shows, live music, plenty of festival foods, and all types of children’s activities. There will also be local entertainment of the stage in front of the library. Artisans are from all over the Southeast and feature their own handmade crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry, and much more. Friends of the Smyrna Library will have their book sale during the festival, so plan on getting some phenomenal deals on all types of books. Keep Smyrna Beautiful will be distributing Jonquil bulbs and promoting a cleaner Smyrna. The festival hours of operation are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. the twenty-fourth, and 12-5 p.m. the twenty-fifth. Admission is FREE. Eat delicious food, shop, check out the puppet show, play, and then relax on the lawn while you enjoy the acoustic sounds of Scott Thompson. Wednesday 10/28: Free Trunk-or-Treat event from 6:30-8 p.m.in the West/Sanctuary parking lot at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Get a two-fer out of your kids’ Halloween costumes; dress them in the costumes and bring collection bags as they trick-or-treat from car trunk to car trunk! Friday 10/30: Casper’s Friendly Castle is Halloween fun for pre-school aged children. It will be a morning of carnival games, a moon walk, a giant inflatable slide, magic shows, arts and crafts, face painting, hay rides around the Village Green, and more.
