The City of Atlanta is composed of 25 neighborhood planning units, with 242 neighborhoods officially recognized by the city government. The term “district” in Atlanta is generally used for small areas within the official neighborhoods. September is a great month; it contains Labor Day, the start of Fall, and more. It’s made even better because of all the Cobb County events as well!
Smyrna is in northwest Metro Atlanta, with its center about 10 miles from Atlanta. It’s a short drive to Atlanta, without all the congestion. Its total area is about 15 square miles. It’s known as the Jonquil City due to all of its jonquil flowers that bloom in early Spring.
Cobb County is always the best place to be, but especially in August, with all its fun events coming up.
July 4th is a big day for celebrations and events in Cobb County, but there’s also some other things going on this month as well.
